Maggie does AMAZING line work and black and white. Lines are super crisp and every piece I’ve gotten from her has healed so well. I wouldn’t get tattooed by anyone else.
I walked into the location at 2056 Lake Michigan Dr. very sure or what I wanted for a tattoo. I spoke with Maggie for a brief consultation. She was phenomenal. She explained to me the potential risks of getting the type of tattoo I wanted on my wrist. She was honest, educated, and genuine. She was calm and extremely kind. I ended up choosing not to do the tattoo because it wasn’t what was best for me. This is a permanent mark on my body and Maggie didn’t have to be as honest as she was. I feel she went above and beyond. She made no money on me, but still didn’t hesitate to give me the best information possible because she cares. She has an enormous amount of integrity as a tattoo artist and if I ever change my mind, I’m only going to her. Thank you Maggie!
Maggie did my first color tattoo last month. Being from the Baby Boomer era of the 1950s I grew up loving the TV crime fighting shows of the 1960s. So I decided my first color tattoo to be the logo from the 60s show The Green Hornet. Was going to have it done at Anarchy Ink, but they were booked too far out. So I thought I’d give Screaming Needle a try. I’m glad that I did, and equally pleased that Maggie was my tattoo artist. She was very professional, kind, and extremely knowledgeable. I asked a few questions that she was able to answer. After talking with her I felt very at ease knowing she was going to be the one doing my tattoo. I was blown away upon the completed tattoo. So much better then what I expected! When it began to heal I kept comparing it to the actual logo and it was nearly exact! Maggie hit it out of the ballpark as far as I was concerned and I will be requesting her for future tattoos. I can see she loves what she does, and takes great pride in it. You are awesome Maggie!
